SIGNED and inscribed in black ink to ffep, "Good luck, Duke Ellington". A short collection of jazz fiction, primarily by jazz critics including, Albert McCarthy, Charles Fox and Frederic Ramsey, Jr., the first in an intended series of jazz literature to be published by London's American Jazz Society, with an introduction by Charles Delaunay and b&w photos by William Gottlieb. In heavy card, titled, tan boards, quarter bound in faux red cloth. Pages are mildly age toned, touch of wear and rubbing to foot of spine, small raised area to front board, otherwise about near fine, tight, clean, unmarked.
