George Lewis & Papa Bue's Viking Jazz Band, Original Vintage Jazz Concert Poster, Messehaus, [Nuremburg] Germany, Oct. 3, 1959, presented by Hans-Werner Funke, designed by the distinguished German graphic designer H[olger] Matthies, dramatic b&w portrait of Lewis by noted Danish artist, designer and jazz illustrator [Jen] "NordsØ". A1 Format, (approx. 33" by 23" /80 cm by 59.7 cm), very good+ with corner pinholes, creasing to bottom left corner, light material loss to top left corner at pin hole, mild age toning; the poster is stored flat and will be shipped rolled in a mailing tube. A wonderful collaboration by two respected European designers, the poster was produced only for the George Lewis' 1959 German concert tour and is uncommon, thus. J1676
