Souvenir Press, London 1960, First Edition.The fourth in a series edited by Traills and Lascelles, an interesting vintage miscellania, includes contributions from Count Basie, a discography of 1959-60 record releases, an evaluation of Charlie Parker, articles by well known jazz writers, Dan Morgenstern and Stanley Dance, a discussion of the British jazz scene, jazz in film and more, with b&w photographs. In cream cloth, bright red titles to spine, price stamp to ffep, compression to spine ends, touch of shelf wear to board edges, page edges are slightly age toned, else, about near fine, tight and unmarked, in a very good dust jacket, unclipped, lightly rubbed and soiled, nicks to extremities, closed edge tears and light material loss to the rear panel, now in mylar sleeve.
